It’s unfortunate to see this place continue to go downhill since it opened. When I pulled it up I noticed I gave them a 5 star review the year they opened. I’ve since deleted that review in place of this 1 star. Today’s visit will be my last. I called ahead around 2:30pm to ask what lunch specials they have and what time they end. They told me they end at 3pm but I’d be fine as long as I arrive close to 3pm. I arrived with my two sons and was sat at 2:25. The sever came over to table at 2:28pm and I told her which specials we wanted. The response was she wouldn’t be able to get in the system before 3pm so it wouldn’t be honored. She then said she’d ask a manager to see if he would honor. Whoever that was walked over to our table at 3pm and said the system cant do it after 3pm. I call BS. Honestly it’s not about the money. It’s the principle and not doing the obvious right thing. There is a reason this location is always dead and you never see the same employees working there. Good job for losing another customer (family of 5) who would frequent your restaurant. You stepped over a dollar to pick up a dime. Anyone reading this, do yourself a favor and go to Hickory Tavern or anywhere else. I will never visit this location again.
